Embodiment Workshops: an introduction to Nia’s somatic teachings and conscious leadership for wellbeing facilitators

10:00am — 5:30pm

Have you ever experienced that your body is trying to tell you something or that your body just “knows” what is right or wrong?

What if your bones, joints, connective tissue could speak with you and partner with you to support your work and bring joy and aliveness to each day?

What would it be like to be able to listen to and sense life force energy as you move through your life?

In today’s hectic world we often ignore the voice of our body and the vital information it is communicating with us moment by moment.

Somatics is a field of inquiry, practises and perspectives about how we perceive our body from within, about embodied awareness.

Nia is a sensory-based practice that is based on the body’s way. Nia classes are a cardio-dance workout, a movement practice, and lifestyle based on the intelligent design of the body. Nia believes that every person can discover, explore, unleash, and enhance their individual potential to live a healthy and meaningful life by engaging their senses and listening to their bodies.

As coaches, therapists and wellbeing facilitators we help our clients reconnect with their true selves.

The use embodiment tools can help us take our practise deeper.

“Embodiment Workshops: an introduction to Nia’s somatic teachings and conscious leadership” is a professional development day for wellbeing facilitators, dedicated to tuning into the wisdom of our bodies and allowing our bodies to lead the way in our own personal transformation so that we can show up for our clients and students in a new way.

Your body is the most important partner you will ever have.  Spend this day to deepen your relationship with it and feel more alive, expressed and vital.  Every new sensation you experience in the workshop, will impact how you think, feel and live.

unnamedThe Wish Tree Academy is honoured and delighted to bring Dorit Noble, the UK’s premier somatic trainer and front of room leader for the Nia training faculty in Portland, Oregon US, to Manchester. “The human body is a Universe in miniature. That which cannot be found in the body is not to be found in the Universe. Hence, the philosopher’s formula is that the universe within reflects the universe without. It follows therefore, that if our knowledge of our own body could be perfect, we would know the Universe “ Mahatma Gandhi
